  • (file transfer protocol) a very common method of moving files between two internet sites. ftp is a way to login to another internet site for the purposes of retrieving and/or sending files.

is a proof necessary?

  • a proof is necessary for most jobs involving color. especially when ordering a large amount of brochures, posters or art reproduction. remember, a proof is very critical. what you create and see on a computer monitor is not what you get when it is sent to print.
  • depending on the job, the proof will have a fee attached to it. please ask prior to ordering to assure you are aware of the cost involved.
  • if you are submitting your own art work for production, a "hard" copy or a "jpeg" image should be submitted with the original file. thus, we can compare what you have provided to us with the original file that was submitted for print.
