what software can be used for ftp?

almost any software can be used. listed above are software that we have used.

• cute ftp (pc)
• ftp voyager (pc)
• fetch (mac)
• filezilla (mac & pc)

why can't i just email the files to you?

• depending on the size of the file(s) you might be able to. most internet service providers have a maximum file size that you may send using the email. some larger file sizes may appear to have been sent, but most of the time will be received by the recipient with errors. ftp software will eliminate this type of problems

what does the software cost?

• some software is as little as $15.00 and some is even free.

are user names and passwords required?

• once you have contacted astrografx about your project and we have spoken with you, you will be given the correct login information and password. files uploaded to our server will remain there for 24 hours then will be deleted.
